Great Easter Idea

Our friends, the Hoffmans, had a great post on their blog regarding Easter. Their 5 year old daughter informed them that Easter was more about a bunny, so they decided to make some changes. They did an Easter egg hunt with a spiritual twist. The following are what they put in the eggs and the scriptures that explain them.

- Sacrament cup - Matthew 26:39
- dimes (Judas) - Matthew 26:14-15
- twine - Matthew 27:1-2
- soap - Matthew 27:24-26
- piece of red cloth & thorns - Matthew 27:28-30
- Nails - Matthew 27:31-32
- dice - Matthew 27:35-36
- Soil, sand and rocks - Matthew 27:50-51, 54
- white cloth - Matthew 27:58-60
- stone - Matthew 27:60, 65-66
- spices - Mark 16:1, 3,4 Matthew 28:5
- Empty - Matthew 28:6
