More July. . .

Wow.  July has been very busy.  In fact, my scrapbook for July is currently 10 pages--and we still have a wedding in St. George to head to!  It's been a blast, so here's a few more views of what we've been doing. (I just realized I've become one of "those" moms:  you know, the one whose entire blog is posts on her child.  I guess I'm just completely in love with this little man.  But seriously, how can you not be?)
Roasting Marshmallows on a cookout.

Eating said Roasted Marshmallow

Hanging out with the cousins.  (I love Hayes' face in this one)

Riding a horse @ Farm Country

Being a lion at the Days of 47 float preview

Waterslide @ grandma's.  We were actually shocked he participated.  He HATES swimming.

Fireworks with Grandpa

More fireworks with grandpa--his newest phrase is "Mommy.  Fireworks coming!"   He loved them.
It's been so much fun to have this little man get a little older this year.  He's so social, and we have so much fun playing.

Our Summer

2 Years Old

Can you believe this adorable little boy is already 2?  I had no idea being a mom would be so much fun.  These pictures are 100% Jack.  Notice Thomas in one hand and a race car in another.  (You need to pronounce race car just like Jack does:  race (deep pause) car. )  He talks non stop, and most of the time it makes complete sense. Much to his mother's chagrin, he loves his shows: Little Einsteins, Chuggington, Toy Story, and Nemo.  He is limited when Mom is around, but gets free reign with dad.  He loves story time, and his favorite books include:  Shark v. Train, Click Clack Moo:  Cows That Type, The Little Engine That Could, The Ants Go Marching.  He loves to eat most things.  His current favorites are avocado, corn, pizza, cheese, and anything with outrageous amounts of sugar- namely suckers.  He never goes anywhere without his blah (translation:  blankie).  Thanks Aunt Shayne for making him one.  I've had to patch it up multiple times.  My mom made him a new one, in the same colors, and he won't touch it. Most afternoons you can find him playing trains on his train table, putting puzzles together with mom, coloring, teasing Gatsby, or just snuggling up with mom.  He's an awesome little man, and we enjoy every day with him.  I can't wait to see him in a year.

Well Hello There. . .

It's been a while.  I have a great story to explain.  I got my last post all ready.  It took 45 minutes to write and get the pictures all properly aligned.  I hit publish post only to discover the internet was down.  The portion saved was minimal.  I was too flustered to even thin about posting again.  It's taken a couple of months to jump back on the bandwagon, so here I am.

Day 22: A Happy Photo

What is better than cousins in the tub?  Too bad Beckham is too little to join them.  These kids are the best!

Day 21: More More of My Favorite Shows

Again with the Glee. Anything relating to Les Miserables makes me happy. But do you get much better than a Lea Michele and Idina Menzel performance. Two of my favorite voices singing one of my all time favorite songs. Ahhhhh . . .enjoy!

Day 21: More of My Favorite Shows: GLEE - "Umbrella-Singin' In the Rain" Full Performance

GLEE - How can you not love the incredible music in this show? I think Mr. Shuester should be on my "list" as well. I love this mash up of Umbrella and Singin' In the Rain. Who knew the lovely Ms. Paltrow had a voice?

p.s. Next post is Glee as well. I just couldn't decide between the two songs.
